nobody knows how much caffeine they had today

a cup of coffee is a range, not a number. a can tells you once, on the back, in small type. here is what the published ranges say, and why we landed on 5mg.

nobody knows how much caffeine they had today

a cup of coffee is a range, not a number. published figures for an 8oz cup run from about 70mg to 140mg depending on the bean, the grind, and how long the water sat on it. a 16oz shop drink can land higher. an energy drink at least prints a figure, usually somewhere between 80mg and 300mg a can, on the back, in small type, after you have already bought it.

the number you can actually name

a zingiez tablet is 5mg of caffeine. that is the whole claim. take five and you have had 25mg. take twenty and you have had 100mg. the arithmetic is the product.

you do not need a tracking app to know what you took. you need a dose that comes in a size you can count.

why five and not fifty

5mg is small enough that stacking it is meaningful. at 50mg a unit you get three choices: some, more, too much. at 5mg you get forty.

every tablet also carries 10mg of l-theanine, twice the caffeine, at every dose you build. the ratio does not move when the number does.

the ceiling

the label stops at 4 servings a day, which is 40 tablets and 200mg of caffeine. that is printed on the tin and it is where we stop too.

figures for zingiez come from the product label. figures for other products are published ranges that vary by brand, size, and preparation. nothing here is medical advice. contains 50mg caffeine per serving. not recommended for children, pregnant or nursing women, or those sensitive to caffeine. do not exceed 4 servings (40 tablets) per day.

one tablet is 5mg

there are a hundred in the tin. take five, take twenty.
